High 5 *The ScrapRoom*

I'm of the opinion that sometimes the best layouts come from being forced (or limited) to using scraps, do you agree?  As I sat staring at my scraps from The ScrapRoom's September Doubleshot Kit a light bulb came on over my head :) I went straight to the computer and printed these photos!

The colors were spot on and they went with the school theme :)

Cut the title 3 times on my Cricut with the Graphically Speaking cartridge then layered them for a chipboard effect. A little black ink around the edges really made it pop!

Cut the arrows with the same cartridge and used them to point out my son's name.

Well... I have a few scraps left, one sheet of cardstock, a couple of buttons and one brad, just enough to make a couple of cards!

Ohhhh, I LOVE this one Beth!! The colors look awesome together and I love how you pointed the arrows to your son's name!! I am gonna have to try that, technique you used for making your title look like chipboard, with the multiple cuts!! :)

I love pages made with limited supplies. I like that you used the arrows (or chevrons) to point to his name! Great detail. Perfect page!

Using leftovers has become a new obsession of mine! I tend to buy paper packs so using leftovers is a great way to stretch it. I love how you laid yours all out vertically ... I always gravitate to horizontal so I love this!

Congrats to Matthew on Student of the Week!
